Massachusetts has corn mazes in nearly every part of the state, and many farms turn the experience into an entire fall festival. You might start the day wandering through rows of towering corn, take a hayride afterward, pick apples or pumpkins, visit the farm animals, and finish with warm cider donuts.
A Few Massachusetts Corn Mazes to Explore
If you're in MetroWest, Hanson's Farm in Framingham is a convenient place to begin. The farm is known for its seasonal corn maze along with pumpkins, hayrides, animals and cider donuts.
In Bolton, Schartner Farm opens for the 2026 fall season on September 12 and offers a corn maze along with apple picking, hayrides and farm animals—a great combination for a classic New England fall day.
Heading toward the North Shore? Marini Farm in Ipswich opens its seven-acre interactive corn maze September 12. This year's theme is dinosaurs, and Saturday nights in October feature flashlight maze adventures.
On the South Shore, Sauchuk's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch in Plympton runs weekends from September 19 through October 31, 2026. In addition to the maze, the farm advertises dozens of activities including pumpkin and apple picking, jumping pillows, a carousel and a cow train.
And if you want to make the maze the main attraction, Davis Mega Maze in Sterling has long been one of Massachusetts' best-known fall maze destinations.
Make a Day of It
Don't rush through the maze trying to find the exit. Take the wrong turns. Let the kids choose the direction. Stop for pictures. Laugh when you realize you've walked past the same spot three times.
Wear comfortable shoes or boots because New England farms can get muddy, particularly after an autumn rain. Bring a sweater, check the farm's schedule before leaving home, and consider purchasing tickets ahead of time when reservations are offered.
